How the Grab-O-Matic drum handling kit makes a loading/unloading operation more efficient
St Clare Engineering has been developing the Grab-O-Matic for the past 30 years and over that time we’ve worked continually to develop products that improve not only safety but also the speed and ease of drum handling operations. There are several reasons why our products make drum loading and unloading as effective as possible.
Our focus on product design has resulted in a range of products perfectly suited to the job, whether for a specific drum type and size or handling operation. Using the right product, specifically designed for a particular purpose, ensures the greatest level of efficiency and minimises human interaction for it to operate well.
Part of that product development has been the innovative quick release mechanism. Its spring-loaded mechanism makes it quick, easy and safe to attach and release to the forks of a forklift truck without the driver having to leave their seat, speeding up the switch to handling different load types.
Our customers operate from the Arctic Circle to the Arabian Gulf and so do our products. Our mechanical designs don’t rely on electrical or hydraulic systems which are affected by temperature extremes. Therefore Grab-O-Matic handlers continue to perform as they should to maintain your operating standards.
Product development has been key to creating efficient loading and unloading operations but this is also supported further by our full servicing, customer support and our ability to ship parts globally at short notice to maintain your operators’ performance.
